WELCOME TO

DAISYCHAINS NURSERY

Daisychains is a PVI (private voluntary independent) nursery and registered charity located on the site of St George’s Primary School, Minster on Sea.
The nursery is managed by Michelle Burrows who has over twenty years’ experience in childcare. We are a warm, friendly and family orientated nursery providing pre-school education and activities to children from the age of 3 months to 4 years 11 months.  Our family of staff are committed to providing a high standard of quality care and support to all our children and their families.  We have three separate rooms to cater for Babies, Toddlers and Pre-School children. Each room has secure access to their own outdoor area as well as the nursery garden area.  In addition, under the supervision of our dedicated team of practitioners, children can access the extensive outdoor area of the school site.  We are immensely proud of our nursery and welcome the opportunity to show you around and introduce you to our amazing family.

WHAT THE PARENTS SAY

Taken from the ofsted report - 2016

Staff know the children exceptionally well.  They use this knowledge very effectively to adapt activities and experiences to challenge children’s individual learning needs.

Staff monitor children’s well-being and involvement very closely at all times, to help them feel very safe and secure.

AGNES (Mother) - May 2020

I have two daughters who have both attended Daisychains nursery from the age of 6 months old, the older child is now 4 years old and the younger one just 1 year old.  They have been looked after very well by the staff to the extent that my older daughter is always talking about the teachers, she knows all their names and tells me everything she has been taught by them.  My older daughter has grown up to be a very clever, respectful child, full of good manners and I give praise to the nursery for this as she has spent a lot of time at there due to us being full time working parents.  Both children have grown into beautiful, healthy, confident and happy children.  I am very impressed with the teachers for their training and honest advice given to me in regards to the welfare of my children.

Emma Jane - (Mother)

Our little one started attending Daisychains at just 9 months old when I returned to work after maternity leave.  Being our first baby it was very daunting dropping her off at a new setting but the staff made sure I felt at ease and the communication was fantastic, open and honest.  The staff looked after me as much as baby especially in those first few weeks while she was settling in!   I wondered if the drop-off would ever get easier; other parents would greet me on the hill with a smile and a friendly ‘good morning’ and some would give reassurance that ‘before you know it she’ll be running in without a backward glance’ and of course it was true.

Our daughter will soon be turning 2 and venturing up to the next room at Daisychains. We couldn’t be prouder of how much she enjoys nursery and how they have helped shape her development.
